2. Hello everyone, this is Sakuragi! Thank you for picking up Volume 9 of "Anemone wa Netsu wo Obiru"!
3. At long last, the final volume. When I was planning this, I didn't imagine that it would go as long as it did. This was my second serialization, but my first yuri manga, so I started out feeling like it was my first serialization. I'd always loved drawing yuri pictures, so I remember being really excited that I was going to get to draw so many.
4. I did get to draw yuri as I'd originally hoped, and although I felt the hardships from serialization, I was able to make it this far thanks to your many encouraging words of support.
5. I completed the final chapter well in advance of when it was published in the magazine, and I did the storyboards even before that. I have a note summarizing how I felt when I completed my work on the storyboards. Succinctly, it said "So lonely!", haha! I knew that I still had some work left to do, like the volume extras, but those last storyboards hit me hard. I realised I wouldn't get to draw Nagisa and friends again.
6. Having said that, I would like to draw them again, so when the mood strikes me I may draw something to release to the public, but for now, this is where we part ways.
7. Because of Anemone, I had so many new experiences and memories, and received so much support, that every day was a happy one for me. If Nagisa and everyone else feels happy and if our readers do too, that would make me even happier. Above all else, it was thanks to the readers that I was able to continue so far, so thank you!
1. I wanted to be able to say "No regrets!" about the Anemone serialization, but there is one little thing that kind of makes me think "Argh!".
2. At the end of the final chapter, I drew a grown-up Nagisa and thought to myself "Adult Nagisa is a real beauty!" It made me want to draw Nagisa and Mashiro as adults, haha! I wish I'd known sooner that Nagisa would grow up to be such a beauty, haha! Nah, even if I'd known, I don't think it would have changed things much, haha!
3. I definitely want to draw Nagisa as an adult again some day.
4. Special Thanks: Editor: Ohnuki-san Design: Itoh Yukinobu-san Assistant: Satoh-san, Imouto Everyone related to the publication, And you, the readers. My family My cat My friends Nagisa, Mashiro, Uda-chan, Riri-chan, Nanjou-senpai, Sensei, Thank you everyone!
5. I know this has gotten long, so thank you for reading this far. One day when the mood strikes you, why not read again from the first volume or talk about it on social media? It would make me so happy to have you remember Anemone well.
6. Thank you so much for your love and support towards Anemone! Let's meet again one day in Nagisa and her friends' daily lives!
