2. The day drags by at a snail's pace...
3. As I anticipate my evening with jiyeon.
4. My brother breaks up the afternoon by surprising me with lunch.
5. Things at work have been so busy that I've been pushing off our weekly lunch date.
6. Today he takes no chances.. Bursting into my office with my assistant trailing behind him apologetically.
7. "He just barged in, ma'am."
8. My assistant, beom seok, is a bit of a nerdy and frail type..
9. And I got the sense he's overwhelmed in the presence of my brother.
10. "It's okay, beom seok."
11. But he's the best assistant I've ever had so I won't admonish him for the interruption.
12. "You've gotta eat."
13. King says, holding up a bag of takeout from one of my favorite restaurants.
14. "And I need an update on what's going on with sweet jiyeon. And our sensei aoi"
15. He had flown to jiyeon's trip with me on a whim, so perhaps I did owe him an update.
16. "Is there a spicy salmon roll in that bag?"
17. He nods and begins removing the containers of food.
18. "So?"
19. "Jiyeon's moved back in."
20. "It's official, she's my girlfriend."
