1. "..."
2. "Ugh..."
3. "Wah!!! What do I do now!!!!"
4. "Idiot!!! Why did you throw it on the statue of mary?!"
1. "You... You ran over here...!"
2. "Are you crazy!"
3. "It's ok! Just wipe it off! If the director and the nuns see this, we are dead!"
4. "It's...!! Not going away...!"
5. "Whose idea was it to fill the balloon with paint?"
1. "..."
2. "Crap... What do I do..."
3. "Sigh..."
1. "...somebody go get noona doyeon."
1. "Mh?"
2. "What's going on?"
1. "..."
2. "Sigh..."
1. "You had to use red for some reason..."
2. It's like a crime scene.
3. "Noona! What do I do?! I can't clean this up!!!"
1. "...this up..."
2. "If I get caught I'm gonna be in trouble!!"
3. Sister elizabeth particularly hates dirty things!
4. If I get caught, I'll strike out this time!
5. "Let's calm down..."
1. "Down..."
2. "What do I do?? They..."
3. "They told me that bad kids can't be adopted...."
1. "Bomjin, who told you this?"
1. "Grown-ups don't punish you for that. We've already talked about it."
2. "But... Last time, the director told me that my score was cut short..."
3. "He was just kidding."
1. "Noona..."
2. "Stop it!"
3. "Don't cry over this!"
4. "Ok, first of all..."
1. "Jihun, can you take the kids and wash them in order?"
2. "You know how to turn on the heater, don't you?"
3. "Yes!"
4. "But... The statue..."
1. "I got that covered."
3. "Come on in."
4. "Hello, mr."
1. "...hello, mr. Director."
2. "I'm...sorry to interrupt your work."
3. "Just get to the point."
1. "Uh..."
2. "Well, I dirtied the statue of mary."
3. "It was an accident, I didn't mean to..."
1. "To do it..."
2. "Huu..."
1. "!"
2. "...clean it up before mass."
3. "I'll do a proper check later."
1. "And no dinner for you tonight."
2. "Ok..."
1. "I'm sorry."
2. "And... Pah doyeon?"
1. "Whether you did it or not it doesn't matter, because it's your responsibility in the end."
2. "Since you're the oldest here."
3. "Do you get it?"
1. Ah...
2. "..."
3. "...yes."
1. "Phew..."
2. "I barely cleaned it with the iron scrubber..."
3. "It was so hard to reach too, now I'm tired..."
1. "Noona! Let's go."
1. "Let's go to eat!"
2. "Let's go!"
3. "I'm fine. All that dust made me lose my appetite. You guys can go eat together."
4. "Huh? Really??"
5. "But dinner today is"
1. "Today is delicious..."
2. "Wow!!!"
3. "It's perfect now!!! Noona, no way!!!!"
4. "Like that, I won't get caught!"
1. "You're the best!"
2. "Thanks noona!"
1. "!"
1. "..."
1. "Uhm..."
1. "...the bus doesn't come here anymore."
2. "!!!"
1. "What...?"
2. "This bus stop is closed."
3. "Can't you see? I erased the numbers..."
4. "Ah..."
5. "I see..."
1. "..."
2. "Don't you have to go?"
3. "Nope."
1. "If the bus doesn't come..."
2. "...it's nice to just sit down."
1. "......."
2. "Ah... I see..."
3. Grown-ups are so carefree.
1. "!"
2. "Before..."
1. "There used to be a bus that stopped here to go to the church at the hill and then went back to the socks factory."
2. "But since the socks factory shut down, people stopped coming, and now the bus stop is removed."
1. "The road is fine..."
2. "...but I guess the bus doesn't go where there are no people."
3. "...really?"
1. "Yeah. Now I only go to the neighborhood down the street."
2. "You said there is a church, though. Aren't people living there?"
1. "...yeah, but there are only kids there..."
2. "...besides, orphans can't go anywhere without an adult's permission."
3. "Hmm..."
1. "So this must be the furthest place you can reach."
1. "..."
2. "...can you tell?"
1. "You just told me."
2. "That no bus comes here anymore."
3. "And..."
1. "I'm an orphan too."
1. "People who have nowhere to go always recognize each other."
2. "Because loneliness is obvious."
1. "Jinju..."
2. "You don't have anywhere to go?"
1. "No."
2. "I don't."
1. "So, where do you want to go?"
2. "Nowhere, really."
3. "Any places where you'd like to go back to?"
1. "To go back to? Places you remember?"
2. "I forgot them all."
3. "...but people who love you must be looking for you right now."
1. "The..."
2. "The people I loved abandoned me."
1. "..."
2. "Then..."
3. "When you find someone new to love..."
1. "You're always trying to solve other people's problems."
1. "And you can't help it, either."
2. "Am I right?"
3. "Because that's how you've lived, and that's your"
1. "And that's your survival strategy."
2. "But, doyeon..."
1. "Being a good child doesn't necessarily mean you'll be loved."
2. "Especially if you choose someone."
1. "Believe me, I tried. It did not work."
2. "That's not how the world works."
3. "As proof of this, I'm still alone."
1. "Then-"
1. "I will be the one to love you, jinju!"
1. "Is this your solution?"
2. "To lick each other's wounds?"
1. "By the way, doyeon."
1. "What if I don't love you?"
1. "..."
1. "Huuu..."
1. "Mom said it's my turn on the xbox."
3. Translator's notes
4. This webtoon was translated trying to avoid as many border-comic strip-notes as possible. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, especially when they are useless scanlators comments, but I am afraid I will surely be overusing them, so, to avoid this, I'd just like to not use them and write some notes at the end. This means that:
5. 1) Honorifics such as sunbae, noona, ajumma ecc. will be used if deemed useful and contextual to the story;
6. 2) Words that do not have a proper translation (food, idiomatic phrases, ecc) will be adapted for an english-speaking audience;
7. 3) Korean words or city names that are understandable within the context of the conversation won't be changed.
8. These choices may change in the future, but any translation choice that falls into these three categories will be explained in the TL's notes at the end of each strip.
9. Various:
10. - on the bus stop there was written something along the lines of "Holy land project", which is probably the name of the children's home where Doyeon's was staying (dunno, it makes sense for me). I did not translate it because I'm not 100% sure and it was covered by paint nonetheless.
11. Other notes
12. Mare Fuori scans uploads chapters only on MangaDex. If you want to get in touch, just leave a message
1. there.
