1. Everytime I leave the house, I always look around me.
2. "..."
1. For example...
2. A dropped cigarette pack, a shady corner...
1. Anything that seems unusual, or that wasn't there before...
2. ...all these invisible things, must be checked one by one.
1. Or also...
2. If there's another hidden camera laying around...
3. There's nothing more suspicious than someone going out every week completely covered up.
1. I think I managed the thing with morae (Probably)...
1. ...but it just reaffirmed my convictions.
2. I could send jinju out on her own, so nobody can tell that there are two people living in the house, but I don't like that one bit.
3. To be fair, if we want to be really careful, jinju shouldn't go outside at all.
1. But any normal person stuck at home for weeks would feel like a prisoner.
2. Also, now that the days are getting warmer, is even more strange to go out dressed like this...
3. Do I need to dress up like a kid?
1. "Even then, we're so different in build and hair length..."
2. Also...
3. Jin ju is not safe.
1. ...sinsu is not safe with me.
2. Somewhere else... We need a safe place.
1. ...can the police really help me with that?
2. "Hey..."
1. "Are we going?"
1. "Ah..."
2. "Sorry! I got excited thinking about going out after all this time!"
3. "What can we eat today?"
4. "Hm..."
5. "Beats me..."
1. "Beats me... Something healthy?"
1. "Are you sure you don't have to go to church?"
2. "I'm good for today."
3. "Hasn't it been a long time since your last day off?"
4. "Isn't there anything else you'd want to do besides putting up with what I want?"
6. "Babe~"
7. "Darling~"
1. "Mh... Like what?"
2. "You know, like... Meeting up with your friends..."
3. "Going out with a boy..."
1. "At your age, there must be so many things you want to do..."
2. "..."
3. "Ah"
1. "...so, what do you want to do, jinju?"
2. "We're far from home, so we can go around freely!"
3. "You can take off your hoodie!"
4. "I'm fine just breathing some fresh air."
5. "Come on! Let's have some fun!"
1. "Some fun!"
2. "Come in and see~"
3. "Halmeoni, how much for a basket of bellflower roots?"
4. "60,000 won. Very cheap."
1. "Is it really cheap?"
2. "Yes!"
3. "Do you know how to cook them?"
4. "Because I don't..."
5. "Yeah, I do."
1. "...then one basket, please."
2. "In this country~!!"
3. "We don't want this! Now it's our turn — !!!"
4. "Why is it so loud over there?"
6. "I think they are protesting."
1. "Parliament~!"
2. "Electoral~!"
3. "Fraud"
4. "Are protesting. It's been a while since I saw one here."
5. "Make them pay~!"
6. "Put them in jail~!"
7. "Progressive? Conservative?"
8. "...I guess they don't talk about politics in romance movies."
9. "Makes sense."
1. "A cup of latte and an americano ready!"
2. "Woah!"
1. "Woah. Thanks for the drink!"
2. "I can buy you at least this."
3. "It's really good!"
4. "What's that?"
1. "That?"
2. "Does this mean that we are finally even?"
1. "..."
2. "I'm just kidding."
1. "Ha..."
1. "...we had fun."
2. "I didn't."
1. "Huh?"
2. "...why not?"
3. "We ate a snack, bought some roots and drank a coffee! This took no more than half an hour!"
4. Here's a visual representation...
1. "Time flies..."
2. "This is what you'd do during company lunch break."
3. "So what can we do to have a good time?"
1. "Hmm..."
2. "I just have some cliché ideas, but..."
1. "Watching a movie together, riding a bike...or walking by the river... Taking photos around would also be nice."
2. "Something like that?"
3. "Oh, the botanical garden that opens up at night is pretty cool too..."
1. "That sounds a lot like a date."
2. "There's no need for that."
1. "Yongjun? What brings you here?"
2. "Haha~ haha~"
3. "Someone I know opened a clothing store nearby!"
4. "So I'm just lending my face to make some advertising. What are you up to?"
5. "Oooh~ that's nice~ that's nice~"
1. "I was just taking a walk, it's my day off."
2. "Ooh! I see..."
3. "Oh! You have company!"
4. "Hi! I'm one of doyeon's best friends from school!"
1. "Ah..."
2. "And this pretty lady must be doyeon's..."
3. "Aunt."
1. "I'm her aunt."
2. "Oh hoo ~"
3. "Oh I see, I see!"
1. "Oh! Now I got it!"
2. "I can surely see why you're both so pretty! Mm, mm!"
3. "C'mon! Let's go!"
1. "Ah! Sorry!"
2. "Have fun! See you around at school!"
4. "See you!"
1. ...what a strange kid.
2. "Bye Bye"
3. "Of course there's a boy like that around you..."
4. "Ah!"
5. "I spilled the coffee..."
6. "On my clothes..."
1. "You don't happen to have the password code for the bathroom in that building, do you?"
2. "Sure."
1. "This all of a sudden?"
2. "You don't like it?"
3. "It's not that..."
4. "Then I'll do it just"
1. "A little bit more."
2. "Uhn..."
3. "Hahahah - ..."
4. "Wait..."
1. "The people here..."
2. "There's no one."
3. "Still, it's a public restroom."
4. "Someone might come in..."
1. "..."
2. "I'm sorry. I must have lost my control for a second."
3. "I'll stop."
1. "..."
1. "Huu..."
1. "..."
1. "Bwhahahaha!!"
1. "Isn't that crazy??!"
2. "Shit!"
3. "When you experience it, you don't laugh, trust me!!"
4. "I happened to meet a gentleman that I knew at the company..."
1. "What are you going to do from now on? It's so awkward!"
2. "I don't know!"
1. "I should just... Quit my job..."
2. "Oh, what are you"
1. "Are you saying!"
2. "You should just enjoy these kinds of situatuons!"
3. "Ah"
4. "Mh"
1. "Ah"
2. "Unngh"
1. "Keep it low..."
2. "Can you do it?"
3. "..."
1. "Shameful homosexual orientations?"
3. Translator's notes
4. This webtoon was translated trying to avoid as many border-comic strip-notes as possible. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, especially when they are useless scanlators comments, but I am afraid I will surely be overusing them, so, to avoid this, I'd just like to not use them and write some notes at the end. This means that:
5. 1) Honorifics such as sunbae, noona, ajumma ecc. will be used if deemed useful and contextual to the story;
6. 2) Words that do not have a proper translation (food, idiomatic phrases, ecc) will be adapted for an english-speaking audience;
7. 3) Korean words or city names that are understandable within the context of the conversation won't be changed.
8. These choices may change in the future, but any translation choice that falls into these three categories will be explained in the TL's notes at the end of each strip.
9. Here a brief vocabulary of the terms used in this chapter:
10. - HALMEONI: a respectful term to address elderly women. Literally means "grandma".
11. Other notes
12. Mare Fuori scans uploads chapters only on MangaDex. If you want to get in touch, just leave a message there.
