2. "Woah~ it's raining a lot~"
3. "............"
4. Life less
1. "My brother is going to call me an idiot..."
2. "I'm the only one in school who still hasn't learned how to write korean in four years..."
3. "Mom and dad keep saying that he resembles you, and not me..."
1. "How can they make such a pointless argument..."
2. "Shouldn't you take after them..."
3. "Gunwoo, did you know there are lots of people who learn the korean alphabet late?"
1. "It's not just you..."
2. "But still!"
3. "This never happened to my brothers when they were my age!"
4. "I'm the only one out of the three!"
5. That's probably the biggest reason...
1. The biggest problem is
2. Three kids at home...
3. "Hm..."
1. "I don't know."
2. "Is learning slowly so bad?"
3. "!"
1. "If you're learning something that will be useful to you, isn't the result all that matters?"
2. "Why don't you take it slowly?"
3. "Your goal isn't going anywhere..."
1. "...and you'll learn everything in the end."
1. "You've known her for so long and you still haven't noticed anything?"
1. "Do you really like her?"
2. "!"
1. "Oh, you're here."
2. "Yep."
3. "You didn't eat, right? I bought this at the convenience store."
4. "Thanks."
1. "...this must be a big deal. For noona to call me out here like this..."
2. "Is it? We're always together."
1. "That's because I follow you around."
2. "Noona is more like... The one who's called, rather than the one who calls others."
3. "Even then..."
1. "You know what?"
2. "Did you know that I followed you and applied to this university?"
3. "And studied to the point of having nosebleeds, with this sorry head of mine?"
4. "That sure"
1. "That sure was a lot of work."
2. "I'll give you this sandwich as a prize~"
1. "It's been a while since I've had one. Ham and cheese..."
2. "Yeah..."
1. "...gunwoo."
2. "I'm confiding in you..."
3. "...the person I like."
1. "It's actually jinju."
1. What?
1. "I've been so busy with work lately..."
2. "And I suddenly thought of you?"
3. "Maybe it's because you and morae are the only ones who know the details about this."
1. And then I remembered what happened at the drinking party...
1. "...I tried to move on from it as usual..."
2. "...but I couldn't."
1. What?
2. "I couldn't do that to you."
3. Huh?
4. "Pretending not to know..."
1. "Not to know... ...I mean, vaguely accepting it, making things ambiguous."
2. What?
1. "Because I'm in that position too, and I'm just not happy about it."
2. "..."
3. "..."
1. "...?"
2. "...???"
3. Noona, what are you talking about?
1. "When you say jinju..."
2. "You mean mrs. Jinju, who lives with you?"
3. "Yeah."
2. "So the thing about the aunt wasn't a joke..."
3. "Correct."
4. "Wha..."
1. "But mrs. Jinju is a woman..."
2. "...and she's married..."
1. "Yeah. I know that."
2. What?
1. What?
3. What's this?
4. Does that make noona...
5. A homewrecker?
1. Is "That" your preference?
2. "Do you think it's weird?"
3. So... You've been lying to me all this time...? Knowing how I felt?
4. But
1. But...
2. "Surprised?"
3. But noona is such a good person...
4. No matter how you put it... It's like...
1. It's like noona really is...
1. "Open your eyes, pyo gunwoo."
1. "Take a look at reality."
2. Kind...
3. Innocent...
1. So quick to forgive others...
2. My kind noona who can't say no to anyone.
3. So that I have to fight for you instead.
1. You two live together...
2. How far did it go?
3. Are you and mrs. Jinju already in a relationship like that?
1. Have I ever had a chance in the first place?
3. How could I keep my eyes open next to you, when...
4. "Gunwoo."
1. "Are you disappointed in me?"
1. "Did I hurt your feelings?"
2. How I feel...
1. I don't get it.
2. I'm slow-witted, so I don't understand. But...
3. "Pyo gunwoo..."
1. "From now on, come to my place right after school."
2. "Starting today, your noona will teach you how to write correctly..."
1. "You hurt my feelings?!!"
2. "It's just... That...!"
3. "You just fell in love, right? You see?"
4. "You can't help it when you"
1. "Help it when you like someone, can you?"
2. "I can understand that..."
3. "Too"
1. "Too..."
2. "Because I like you, noona."
1. "I get it... Even if I don't understand everything, but..."
2. "I can understand that..."
1. I don't know anything else, but I won't forget that I'm on your side.
2. "And..."
3. "And I heard that her husband left her and ran away on his own!"
1. "With a debt of hundreds of millions of won! Huh?!"
2. "..."
3. "What a complete piece of trash!!!"
4. "He had it coming!"
5. - trying to convince himself and the other at the same time -
6. "No! I think it's practically the"
1. "Practically the same as getting divorced already!"
2. "That's~ right~"
3. Sophistry...
4. "Right!?"
5. "..."
1. "That's..."
2. "I don't think that's how it works..."
3. Sophistry...
4. "I don't know who"
1. "Know! Who cares!"
3. "But you're a hundred times better than him!?"
4. "If anyone says anything to you, noona, then they will have to deal with me!"
1. "Be it with my words or my fists!"
1. "My fists!"
2. "...???"
1. "..."
2. "..."
3. "..."
4. "..."
1. "...I called you here today to hurt you, do you understand that?"
2. "...I do."
3. "But you don't do this with just anyone."
1. "This special treatment isn't so bad either."
1. "Haha..."
2. "Pyo gunwoo, you really..."
3. "...I wonder when did you become so smart."
3. Translator's notes
4. This webtoon was translated trying to avoid as many border-comic strip-notes as possible. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, especially when they are useless scanlators comments, but I am afraid I will surely be overusing them, so, to avoid this, I'd rather not use them and write some notes in the end. This means that:
5. 1) Honorifics such as sunbae, noona, ajumma ecc. will be used if deemed useful and contextual to the story;
6. 2) Words that do not have a proper translation (food, idiomatic phrases, ecc) will be adapted for an english-speaking audience;
7. 3) Korean words or city names that are understandable within the context of the conversation won't be changed.
8. These choices may change in the future, but any translation choice that falls into these three categories will be explained in the TL's notes at the end of each strip.
9. Here a brief vocabulary of the terms used in this chapter:
10. - NOONA: honorific used by men to address older women with who they have a certain kinship with. Literally means 'big sister'.
11. Various:
13. - "it's raining a lot", refers to Gunwoo making a lot of errors, with the teacher's corrections resembling rain.
14. - Thanks to Faust9 on MangaDex for QC.
