1. "Was it uncomfortable?"
2. "I'm sorry. It's a cheap couch..."
3. "It's fine. I'm just grateful that you let me stay."
4. "I can't help it..."
5. "...and about our conversation yesterday-"
1. "?"
2. "?"
3. "Where does it hurt?"
1. "Here?"
2. "You know, the 4th and 5th vertebrae are prone to herniated disks."
3. "And usually massages help to relieve pain..."
1. "I'm fine"
2. "Thanks!"
3. "Oh."
1. "Do you wanna sleep in my bed for tonight?"
2. "What?!!"
3. "You can't always sleep on the couch."
4. "Erm..."
5. "Oh, I'm going to be late."
1. "I'm off to class. There is an omurice on the table if you are hungry."
2. "Have a good day!"
3. "....."
4. An introvert living with an extrovert
5. "!"
6. "Hello. Yes, mom."
1. "I'm all good. How about you?"
2. "Yep, yep ^^"
3. "It's ok. I've got lots of kimchi."
4. "Don't worry."
5. "Oh, I wanted to check on that."
1. "I wish she'd live with you. But she really likes the dorms..."
2. "Haha..."
3. "That's for the better."
5. "Well, at least you two live nearby. Please take good care of your sister, doyeon."
6. "She doesn't talk a lot, but I bet she must feel lonely."
7. "Thank you, doyeon. As always."
1. "All right, mom."
3. "...."
4. She is such a neat freak, and she's still a student...
1. She must have some money if she can afford to live here by herself.
2. No wonder she had no problem getting involved with me.
3. "I'll get"
1. "Back with the money as soon as I can."
2. "I told them everything so they won't harass you."
3. "I'll be back in a few months."

2. "...I love you."
1. "Aargh"
2. "Doyeon!"
3. "How could you leave us two alone?!!"
4. "Are you kidding me ~!"
1. "And sunmi didn't even come out in the first place!!!"
2. "Do you have any idea how awkward it was to hang out with gunwoo just me and him?"
3. "I'm sorry~"
4. "I really didn't want to go."
5. "And that bastard wanted to go out with me anyway!!"
6. "Let's do this date."
7. is that a robbery...?
1. "What kind of a date is that, you weirdo!!!"
2. "He just stared at me the whole day without saying a word!!!"
3. "I felt like I couldn't breathe the whole time!!!!!"
4. Pressuring him, I see...
5. "Really sunbae?"
6. "Do you feel"
1. "Suffocated when you are with me?"
2. "ah... n-no..."
3. "Are we so far apart?"
4. "well, I mean..."
5. "Aren't we close? Or was that all an act?"
6. "Now I'm hurt."
7. "no..."
8. "Gunwoo, is that true?"
9. "That you scared jae sunbae?"
10. "You shouldn't"
1. "Do these things."
2. "You're actually really kind, but people won't notice it if you keep acting this way."
3. really..?
4. kind..?
5. "....."
6. "Sorry, noona..."
7. "No, apologize to me."
1. "Ah"
2. "Come to think of it, what happened yesterday?"
3. "Did you send your neighbor away?"
4. "No... Not yet."
5. "Why? Doesn't she have somewhere else to go?"
6. "Should..."
1. "Should I kick them out for you?"
2. "It's not like that. She is my guest."
3. "There's no need for you to come."
4. "You can't help every person in need."
5. "And you know it, noona."
6. "...."
1. "I'm home."
1. She didn't eat.
2. She also didn't eat much yesterday...
3. "Jinju, are you feeling-"
4. "Ah..."
1. ...she also turned off all the lights.
2. There was no need to be this cautious since it's not her home.
1. "Mnh..."
1. "...you're here?"
2. "...."
3. "Yup."
1. "You didn't eat anything. Is everything okay?"
2. "I'm not really hungry."
3. "Do you want me to cook different stuff? Would you like something in particular?"
4. "I'm okay... What's that?"
5. "Ah, I stopped at your place while I was getting back home."
1. "I grabbed some stuff that seemed important."
2. "What?"
3. "...oops! Sorry!!!"
4. "I was just giving a look, but then I thought you might have needed some clothes or something!"
5. "No, well..."
6. "I'm past the point of caring about this kind of stuff."
1. "...of stuff."
2. "...was it in bad shape?"
3. "...."
4. "It just... Was kind of a mess"
1. If, by any chance...
2. ...jinju had been there...
3. That will never happen.
1. "And this."
2. "It's a wedding ring, right?"
3. "It was just laying on the floor."
4. "... I would like to know...."
1. "...what do you want from me?"
2. "...what?"
3. "I know you helped me in good faith."
1. "But being in good faith means helping someone out when they fall..."
2. "...not sharing a bed with them for days on end."
3. "So let's be realistic here."
1. "Do you want money?"
2. "Or a housemaid?"
3. "What would you like me to do?"
1. "As you can see, all I have with me is my body..."
2. "...so what do I have to do so that I can stay here?"
1. "...."
2. "Uhm..."
1. How can I blame you...
2. ...if all this deep seated distrust...
3. ... Comes from your experience?
1. "Well..."
2. "You can water my plants."
3. "I have to do it every monday..."
1. "...but when I get busy at school I always forget to do it."
2. "I'm not kidding, I have 14 plants in this house!"
3. "Nine pots are from friends that gave them to me..."
4. "I have to air them out too!"
1. "I would be really grateful if you could help me with that."
2. "Do you think you can do it?"
3. "...and that would be enough for you?"
4. "Yeah!"
5. "You can't help every person in need."
1. "And you know it, noona."
2. Well, I wouldn't say it's not sympathy.
3. But I think it's something more along the lines "Misery loves company".
1. "Warm me up the omurice, please."
2. "ah"
3. "Of course!"
3. This webtoon was translated trying to avoid as many border-comic strip-notes as possible. Don't get me wrong, I really like them, especially when they are useless scanlators comments, but I am afraid I will surely be overusing them, so, to avoid this, I'd just like to not use them and write some notes at the end. This means that:
4. 1) Honorifics such as sunbae, noona, ajumma ecc. will be used if deemed useful and contextual to the story;
5. 2) Words that do not have a proper translation (food, idiomatic phrases, ecc) will be adapted for an english-speaking audience;
6. 3) Korean words or city names that are understandable within the context of the conversation won't be changed.
7. These choices may change in the future, but any translation choice that falls into these three categories will be explained in the TL's notes at the end of each strip. Here a brief vocabulary of the terms used in this chapter:
8. - NOONA: honorific used by men to address older women with whom they have a certain kinship with. Literally means 'big sister';
9. - SUNBAE: honorific used to address people with more experience (at school, at work, ecc) than the speaking person;
11. - Doyeon refers to Jinju with -ssi, that can be either Mr, Miss or Mrs. I didn't really like to always put Mrs in front of Jinju's name. Also, I would find it kind of strange to go on and to have Doyeon refer to Jinju as Mrs. So I am omitting it. Only time will tell me if it was a good choice.
