1. A flower rooted in yearning blooms as beautifully as it thirsts.
Se încarcă…Se încarcă…
1. blank...
3. "How should I know...?"
4. "Is something wrong with her?"
5. At least I went on my own.
6. She only wanted to hurt me.
Se încarcă…Se încarcă…
1. At least they'll never meet.
2. "What's different from the old one?"
3. "See!"
4. "Have a look! I bought a new picnic sheet for us!"
5. "It's a slight bit bigger now!"
6. "Here."
1. "!?"
2. "Nrr-hhh..."
3. "Urh..."
4. "Sumi-chan!? What's gotten into you?"
5. "Won't you tell me...?"
6. "Did something happen?"
7. "We agreed to share every-thing..."
8. "Didn't we?"
1. "Uuu-nn-nhhh..."
2. "Nnh..."
3. I went and spoke to...
4. the girl from the letter...
5. "I didn't mean to! I found her by accident, I promise!"
6. "Sumi-chan!"
7. "Off on your own again!?"
8. "!!"
1. But when I gave her the letter back, she yelled at me...
2. She told me... some really mean things...
3. How could she say that?
4. ""That little pretend relationship you got going on? Don't think it's gonna last either.""
5. I didn't like it...
6. I really, really, really didn't like it!
1. "Huh...!?"
2. "I'll go and give her a piece of my mind!"
3. "I'll tell her to never disrespect my little sister again!"
1. "I'll have her apologize to my Sumi-chan!"
2. "A big sister needs to look after her little sister!"
3. "You don't have to do that...!"
4. "Now sit."
5. "Okay. Stop and listen, Onee-sama."
6. "Look at me."
7. "It's fine. It's over. You don't need to go that far."
1. "So thank you for worrying about me."
2. "Seeing how angry you were for my sake"
3. "made me feel kind of better."
4. "B- But stiiill..."
5. "I can't settle till I put it out of your mind!"
6. "There must be something more I can do at least!?"
7. "Some- thing more..."
1. "Then instead,"
2. "touch my knee..."
3. "...Your knee?"
1. "You have to..."
1. "High-er.."
2. "Hard-er..."
3. "Dig in your nails..."
1. "Sumi-chan..."
2. The coldness gripping my leg isn't the air.
3. "when the cool air hits above your knees..."
1. It's her fingers, freezing into me.
2. This should be enough to mark it over.
3. "Onee-sama..."
4. "Do it harder,"
5. The lingering bite of those nails since yesterday...
6. "...Mm-hm."
7. "Mm..."
1. "Ohh, it's already dark out!"
2. "We should have left by now!"
1. "Hey! Yoopy-sensei!"
2. "Are you feeling well enough to be back at school, Sensei?"
3. "Ohoh? And what're you twoo doing out so late?"
4. "Sorry to leave you kids on your own yesterday. I'm better than ever~"
5. "See you tomor-row, Sensei!"
6. "Please take care of yourself."
7. "Ah of coourse, you're in 1-A, aren't you Sakuragawa-san."
8. "She's our advisor in the gardening club!"
9. "Huh, really?"
10. "She's our class's classical literature teacher."
11. "Whoa!"
12. "The rest of class calls her Yoopy-sensei too."
13. "But not you, Sumi-chan?"
14. "Well it's awkward, calling your teacher a nickname..."
1. "I just call her Yurika-sensei."
2. "Here to return a book~"
3. "Isn't it about time you headed home, Aoyama-san?"
4. "Rrrh~ Soon as I finish this chapter, it's getting good..."
5. "Oh,"
6. "One"
7. "..."
8. "..."
9. "sec."
1. "Don't look at me like that; you're giving me shivers~"
2. "I'm here about the book, hoon-est."
3. "Ugh-hh..."
4. "Yurika-senpai..."
5. "Did you always talk that annoying?"
6. "I know it's almost past due, but you'll give me some wiggle room? Won't you?"
7. "I'll pay eextra attention next time."
1. "Now Aoyama-san~"
2. "Remember, it's Yurika-sensei."
3. "Head on home soo~oon!"
4. Yurika-senpai ...
1. "It's like you're in your big sister's uniform, so cuuute!"
2. "Woo-ow! Were first years in middle school always so tiny?"
3. "So if you get stuck, ask away, Aoyama-chan~!"
4. "I'm in my last year of high school but I was student librarian since middle school too!"
5. She won't let those memories be buried.
1. The Princess of Sylph (still ongoing still translating, check links)
2. I See You, Aizawa-san!
4. I wouldn't be saying this if I didn't feel it was completely necessary. Please stop reposting pages from AriSaku to social media.
5. The artist has been deeply upset by the existence of fan translations and how brazenly they've been pirated. This goes equally for her sketches and especially volume extras. I don't want to have to stop translating; ultimately I'd like to believe this is for the manga's benefit, enabling it to reach a wider audience who will support it.
6. But supporting it means respecting the artist. And when she sees people stealing her work it hurts her motivation to draw.
7. To be clear: - Do not post pages of this translation to social media. - Do not make reference to the translation to social media. - Shame those who do (politely). - Don't be afraid to talk about the manga, but if necessary say you read it on the official site with a translation tool.
8. During Mia and Yamabe's arc, Igarashi said she was careful to avoid seeming mean-spirited towards non-native Japanese speakers. "I don't want to make a manga that hurts anyone [reading it]." Let's be careful not to hurt the one making it either.
10. If you have the means, please consider supporting the author and purchasing the Japanese volumes.
12. "Now sit."
1. let's talk Yoopy
2. Here Kasumi says "onegai." Now this is a very standard "Please," and that would be a fine translation. Except it's not the polite form; that would be "onegaishimasu." She's not asking this as Sumi-chan, she's asking as Kasumi.
3. In turn I made the translation more demanding: "You have to." This conversation is filled with moments their characters lapse into their real selves, the boundary between roleplay and real feelings impossibly transparent.
4. Kasumi does return to her little sister persona with "onegaishimasu" later when it feels less urgent.
5. This TL page is actually about speech patterns but there's something overshadowing it.
6. Aoyama's attitude is rough and casual. If you've ever heard an anime girl end half her sentences in -ssu, that's her.
7. It's fitting I had her drop the 2nd hard swear in this otherwise graceful manga, considering the first came in a flashback Kasumi was never privy to. But I digress.
8. "I'm really sorryyy! I was looking for tents to find you~"
9. "What'cha do that for!? It's freakin' private!"
10. "The hell!!"
11. Now Yoopy-sensei draws out her vowels nearly once per line and speaks in a generally childish and frivolous manner. Her nickname reflects that: Yupi- or Yuppii.
12. "Did you always talk that annoying?"
13. "I know it's almost past due, but you'll give me some wiggle room? Won't you?"
14. "I'll pay extra attention next time."
15. When it comes to nicknames I like to translate the phonetics into something that reads naturally and looks as cute or familiar in English. ie Micchi into Michy instead of Micchii.
16. If I have to be infected with I See You Aizawa-san! so do you.
17. Calling a teacher Yoopy is shamelessly casual. Kasumi can only bring herself to call Yurika-sensei by her given name, which is still quite familiar.
18. "I just call her Yurika-sensei."
19. It's clear Yurika-sensei has a close personal relationship with her students.
20. I uhhhh might have made her nickname look a little less silly in ch16 had we known who Yoopy-sensei was but sometimes we find ourselves in unexpected hells.
21. It's not unfitting its just, yknow...
22. "Huh, then what're we doing for classic lit?"
23. "So Yoopy-sensei's out today."
24. btw the final page reveals Yurika and Aoyama have a 5 or 6 year age gap.
