1. When I first began this journey, I didn't believe anyone would notice it. I didn't think it would succeed, or grow, or touch anyone's heart.
2. I only had one small dream: To have maybe a hundred people who would read my work and find something in it worth staying for and to earn a little to support my sick mother and auntie.
3. This story has flaws, many flaws and I know it better than anyone. But none of my characters were ever meant to be perfect. I drew them with their cracks showing, with their wounds unhealed, with mistakes they couldn't take back. Because that's what I see in the real people around us - quiet struggles, hidden shame, silent fears, moments when the darkness feels heavier than we can bear.
