What does she mean by "Enjoy my latter years"? 7. Why did she offer to pay three-hundred sacks of rice for chong? 8. When chong refused, she commissioned chong's portrait and cherished it dearly... 9. Then after chong left, she erected a monument in her memory. Why...?? 10. There can be only one answer... Love! 11. And I must let the world know how they loved each other! 12. Fortunately, my editor and biwan got on board too and so "Her tale of shim chong" began. 13. "How about an adaptation of a classic for your next series?" 14. "East asian style? Sounds great!" 15. The character designs were decided fairly easily.

1. Chong was like a feral cat at the beginning of the story... 2. But gradually morphed into a puppy after meeting madame. 3. "Careful, my dog bites~" 5. Typical pure & innocent-looking beauty. Fair skin reveals sheltered life. Light hair color contrast chong's dark hair. Eyes have a somewhat mineral quality. 7. Her hairstyle took the longest to decide. But eventually we settled on one that blended the most with the time period. The rejected designs are still cool though!
