3. It's been over 30 chapters since I first planned to focus on Yuki, and I've finally managed to give her some screen time. Since chapter one, Yuki-chan's been glued to Nanase, and I know a lot of readers have found her kind of annoying. (But I also know there are people out there who love her. Thank you so much for that!) I feel like the girls who are always cheerful and smiling on the surface are often the ones quietly bottling up the most on the inside. Yuki might be a little twisted, but... -> in Kyoukano, there isn't a single girl who isn't a bit toxic, so, yeah...
4. Anyway, enough about Yuki, let's talk about Mashiro. She's still very much a mysterious girl... Mashiro and Fuuko's story is going to continue just a bit longer. <- Oh and by the way, the uniforms!! I really struggled with the design. There's just something so elegant about long one-piece uniforms, right? (Though if I wore one myself, I'm 100% sure I'd get it dirty immediately.) Also, after drawing it, I thought, "Oh? Having the girl you're into wear your uniform is... kind of kinky, no?" Honestly, it's a little questionable on both sides. And by the way, the series is actually about to celebrate its 5th anniversary!! ("But you've only drawn just under 40 chapters in a monthly magazine?!" Shhh! Keep quiet!)
