4. • The spirit in the Chinese original is called a yan (魇), or "nightmare," and so I have translated it as a "mare", a classic nightmare spirit from European folklore. You may also be familiar with it from Phasmophobia.
5. • Elsa calls Yvonne daxiaojie (大小姐), a term that can both mean the senior daughter of a rich family or more frequently, any girl that is both bossy and spoiled. Sometimes translated as "Miss High-and-Mighty", it's been translated as "Your Ladyship" here for brevity's sake.
